"new positions!"

over the past two months, i have been working as a podcast research intern for superreal and as a content creator ambassador for handshake! these opportunities are so so plentiful, and i cannot wait to further my personal development!

about

daniela anne derek is a filmmaker and artist studying at emerson college and paris college of art.

she's currently operating as a podcast research intern at superreal, works as an ambassador for handshake and is currently post-producing a collaborative short film with maniacal jackal: "Hawktooth."
her most recent works include "+33 07 DATE ME PLS" (award winner at alternative film festival fall 2023) and "why i, the creator of this film, always leave my bedroom door closed"; which are currently making their rounds at festivals.

additionally, she has also starred as jacquline in sydney sagehorn's "mystique no. #4," and has been seen in the regional premiere of spongebob the musical at the watertower theatre. additionally, she originated the role of riki ortiz in the world premiere of from a distance dad at studio b theatre. she has also been nominated for a buckley award for her lighting design of NISDTX's production of into the woods and shrek the musical.

she is a published author.

daniela has trained with zach kononov (regional/national tour performer) and lea grant (professional vocal instructor). She has also participated in the broadway collective's gathered (2019), working with kate lumpkin (CSA), robert hartwell (CEO),  sheri sanders (professional vocal coach) and taylor trensch (broadway performer).
